EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A armed person has prompted a courthouse in Washington state to be placed on lockdown, according to law enforcement officials. The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office said on Twitter Monday afternoon that the county courthouse north of Seattle in Everett was closed as law enforcement negotiated with the person who was in the courthouse lobby. Dozens of officers from the sheriff's office and Everett police were at the scene at about 1:30 p.m., The Herald reported. A Sheriff's Office spokesperson told the newspaper that no injuries had been reported.
